A Level Textiles: Beautiful Sketchbook Pages

I have always loved journal style collage art. Halima Akhtar from Woldingham School, Caterham, Surrey, UK. Beautiful collage like textile folio.

Vibrant drawing by Ester Roi (http://esterroi.com/), made using coloured pencils. Roi uses what's called an Icarus Drawing Board technique where wax-based media (ex. coloured pencils, crayons, pastels, etc.) are used to draw a picture, after which the drawing is exposed to heat that softens and melts the wax, creating a visual effect similar to a painting.

Oh, cool pictures… Wait what?

Hot glue gun art! I love this idea

Up close look - The artwork is done with hot glue and a marker! It was very inexpensive, as I used left over house paint, a half price canvas, hot glue for a 3 D effect, and a Marks A Lot marker.

Cheapo craft felt, acrylic paint and a heat gun=cool surfaces!
