Background using PaperArtsy Infusions and Distress ink.
1. Lightly spritzed water onto watercolour card. 2. Tapped PaperArtsy Blackcurrant Infusions onto the card. 3. Lightly spritzed all over the card again. If any areas need more colour I added more Infusions. Leave to dry. 4. Once dry stamp the daisy from my Designs by Georgina Floral Trio stamp set onto the card with a VersaMark ink pad and then heat emboss with Ebony Black WOW! Embossing Powder.
Waiting for it to dry... Paperartsy Rocky Road Infusions, Imagination Crafts Structure Paste and my Designs by Georgina Blocks stencil.
My favourite embossing powder is WOW! Just great for embossing outlines.
Texture and colourwash Texture created using PaperArtsy Grunge Paste through a selction of Designs by Georgina stencils. Once dry add several washes of colour using DecoArt Media Line Fluid Acrylics. I used Yellow Oxide. http://www.designsbygeorgina.co.uk/product-category/stencils/
Have you tried stamping onto fabrics? I have used Calico fabric for this sample and stamped with PaperArtsy Fresco Finish paints. The weave of the calico makes a lovely background and texture for the flowers. My solid flowers and leaves stamps from my Designs by Georgina Floral Silhouettes stamp set are ideal for this technique. http://www.designsbygeorgina.co.uk/product/floral-silhouettes/

This is the first birthday card I have made using both my stamp designs with my new hobby I am learning, Brush Lettering. I attended a Brush Lettering workshop a couple of weeks ago at Tea and Crafting. The pen I used for the lettering was a Kuretake UK Bimoji Medium pen. I stamped the roses and then heat embossed with Opaque White WOW! Embossing Powder. I used Daler-Rowney watercolours to colour-in the flowers. The stamp I used is my Designs by Georgina Rose Corner stamp.
Birthday card. The flowers are stamped onto Gelli Plate printed backgrounds. I coloured the Gelli Plate is Distress Ink pads and spritzed before take prints. I used my Designs by Georgina Geranium Tag stamp for the flowers. http://www.designsbygeorgina.co.uk/product/geranium-tag/
Having a change from my usual black or white embossed outline today. Thought I'd give grey a try. I have used WOW! Embossing Powder British Summer embossing powder onto heat resistant acetate. Makes an interest change, wouldn't you agree? The stamp I have used is my Designs by Georgina Rose Corner stamp. http://www.designsbygeorgina.co.uk/product/rose-corner/
You can also used stencils to emboss card. I used my Designs by Georgina 'Blocks' stencil and Imagination Crafts Embossing Mat through a Cuttlebug to easily emboss this white card. http://www.designsbygeorgina.co.uk/product/block-stencil/ http://www.imaginationcrafts.co.uk/embossing-mat
