KV, BR, MW Section 4 Artist= Henry Moore The artist uses hatching and cross-hatching techniques to create the images of the hands seen here. The form and shape of the hands are created with these different strokes. Long wide lines, short close lines, over lapping lines, crossing tight lines all come together to create this distinct image. The hands are very recognizable from afar, but when up close the little lines that make up the image can be seen. TECHNICAL DRAWING: This drawing is called Again by artist Henry Moore. I am not to sure what the medium used in this but it kind of looks like pen but in saying that I like the way he has used cross hatching to define the drawing of the his own hands.
