DIY Paintbrush Ideas for Kids using Household Items- I would use this in my science center. First I would have children predict what each of these "paintbrushes" would do, then students would use each of them and see if their predictions were right.
My 3 year old nursery kids made these for their dad& for Father& Day. We used crayons and stickers. The dads liked them, but the kids really liked them. :) I& not sure if the dads actually got them off of the kids to be able to wear them.
Fun and easy DIY paintbrushes that get kids creating! Use with different "textures" of paint for even more possibilities. These are fun for every day painting or would make a great activity for a kids art themed party.
To add a level of difficulty. I would add number cube to see how many letters to cover up at a time. Use tally marks, dots, numerals ect Free "find the letter" alphabet worksheets! Get them for uppercase, lowercase, and both!
I am making these with Mia but instead of using card stock I plan on making mini ones out of felt and colorful ribbon and crochet decorations and buttons and other things to hang on the tree with little treats.
