Growing grass from seed, for small world play. I love this, we could add news toys each week, as long as we can keep the grass alive anyway!

Small world play. We're going on a bear hunt black tray with lots of sensory aspects. The kids loved it!

We're going on a bear hunt sensory tray! The children ordered this one! They made their own puppets from the story and then used the tray to retell the story!

We used sodden tissue and newspaper to grow cress hills, sprinkled on a Friday - ready to play with on the Monday - we kept it for 1 week - using plastic mini-beasts and small world items first and finishing off with real snails from the garden (we put them back afterwards!)
