Paper theme wedding
I had a handmade wedding with a paper theme. It took months to prepare but practically everything (apart from table, chairs and the marquee!) around us on our day had been made by me.
Beautiful wedding dress
Our wedding cake which reflected the proposal - my husband wrote 'Marry Me?' in daffodils which sprouted on the field where we got married. Such a perfect proposal.
We had a paper wreath as our guestbook and asked our guests to each sign a leaf. The pashminas in the wedding colour were a must as it was a touch windy on the day
The top table
Paper straws and many donated jam jars were what we served our drinks in
Outdoor bunting to make our aisle
Beautiful Wedding Dress
My beautiful wedding dress from Cutting Edge Brides (Bexley, Kent) and my bridesmaids dresses were from Monsoon
The rings were held in the book in which I had cut out paper hearts from which were used as our bunting
A family tree with pictures of those departed so they shared our day with us but didn't upset everyone with mentions in the speeches
Our table centrepieces. The names of the table were all bands that my husband had been in.
Our table centrepieces. We have three fish as pets so it seemed apt and they fitted the colour theme!
