We're Going on a Bear Hunt Messy Play Style" : Turn 'We're Going on a Bear Hunt' by Michael Rosen into a sensory play session. The book is full of descriptive language!

Help children learn 'under' and 'over' by singing and reading "Going on a Bear Hunt" - then turn into Messy Play Style by including a sensory play session. The book is full of descriptive language! Good for my VI kids.

Sensory Steps. Just glue plastic, wash clothes, make-up sponges, fur fabric, squishy wash netting, etc to cardboard. When it dries, cut around edges. Glue shelf liner on the other side. And you are done. Enjoy hours of activities!

Living Creatively: Sensory Steps - what a great idea for inexpensive sensory play - I hate cutting cardboard, so I think I'll try using paper/plastic plates instead!

We're going on a Bear Hunt art activity

Rowing these books together is working nicely for us. We did Bear Hunt in English last week and are doing it in French this week. We are also reading Blueberries for Sal each day.

We're going on a bear hunt activities

One of my favourite books to teach in year one was We're going on a Bear Hunt by Michael Rosen and Helen Oxenbury.

"We're going on a bear hunt..." The children looked at the work of Van Gogh, Monet and Jackson Pollock for inspiration on their journey through the grass, river and mud.
