The mouth watering aroma of a cottage pie, straight from the oven is a great welcome home - a comfort of real food! The simple filling makes use of cheaper cuts of beef and is bulked out with kitchen staples like carrots, celery and onions. We've used our popular cauliflower mash instead of starchy potatoes for low carb comfort.

This is our kind of pancake – the low effort, no flip, no fuss kind. Great for a sweet breakfast or serve with full fat, creme fraiche to turn it into a homely dessert. Freshly picked red currants and blackberries straight from Brambletye Farm’s biodynamic orchards completed the pancake along with a drizzle of raw honey from their hives.

5 Spice Apple Crumble & Ginger Creme Fraiche | HEMSLEY + HEMSLEY - healthy food and living
This classic English dessert came about during the Second World War. In order to make rations go further the crumble was invented to use less sugar, flour and margarine than a full pie crust. We wanted to make a crumble that is nourishing so our topping is a mixture of nutrient-rich almonds and butter, instead of refined flour and margarine, and a dash of maple syrup for sweetness.

High-protein, grain and gluten-free bread sandwich with juicy, delicious sausages and salty, gut-loving Sauerkraut - which is one of our fermented food favourites. We add our own take on Bavarian sweet mustard too but you can just use your favourite mustard if you prefer.
