11 in Turkish battlecruiser Yavuz at Malta in 1936: this was the former German Goeben (Moltke class), whose arrival at Constantinople and transfer to the Turkish navy in 1914 played such a significant part in Turkey's entry into WW1. HMS Marlborough was an Iron Duke-class battleship of the Royal Navy, launched in 1912. In World War I she served in the 1st Battle Squadron of the Grand Fleet based at Scapa Flow. She fought at the Battle of Jutland, 31 May 1916, where she was hit by a torpedo, killing two and injuring two.
