Welocme to the Quary Hunslets web site, the aim is to capture all these wounderful narrow gauge locomotives that were produced for the Quarries of North Wales. All these engines were produced by the Hunslet Engine Company of Leeds between 1870 and 1932. Hunslets designed these light weight locmotives for work in harsh enviroments in the Quarries running most of the year, year in year out, until the decine of the quarries.
