I'm obsessed with this teacher's blog.....So many ideas!!

love this class job chart.it includes a description of the job.great for forgetful students and substitutes :) Clothespins make it easy to change!

I think I might do this as a "getting to know you" activity in September

Love this art project idea. Must try to share with our art teacher, or do myself with the kids. Reverse Silhouette Self Portrait idea. From Grade Art with Mrs.

"Twitter Door" -Have a laminated strip for every child and they get time to update status about something they learned, liked or happened during school that day! Gets them writing and ties in something they're probably already interested in! "What would the main character post on Facebook?"

Texting Door- Students can text about what is happening. There are 30 laminated sentences strips so everyone (including me) has a place to "text" on the door.

Clutter-Free Classroom: Beach / Ocean Themed Classroom - Great ideas in here. I like this standards wall.

Student Reflection Station

a Class*y Collaboration: Students reflect on their work as they turn it in. They put it in the color tray they think that matches the effort they made.
