VAN GOGH LETTER | This letter, written in March 1883 while Vincent van Gogh was living in The Hague, is addressed Anthon van Rappard. In it, van Gogh describes his growing interest in lithography. Further on, the artist discusses what he has been reading, including Charles Dickens's novella "The Haunted Man": "There is no writer who is as much a painter and artist in black and white than Dickens."
