British Columbia Grade 3 Math I use this project when I start my multiplication unit to teach repeated addition, groups of, commutative property, and arrays. You could also replace one with a multiplication word problem and picture.

Ten Frame Toss: This is a fun game to practice decomposing the number ten. To play, students shake and spill a cup of ten two-color counters onto the table. They place them in the ten frame and fill in the recording sheet using bingo markers (or crayons).
