55022 & 55009 Doncaster Works 27.2.82

55022 (D9000) "ROYAL SCOTS GREY" and 55009 (D9009) "ALYCIDON" at Doncaster Works on the 27th February 1982. Both locomotives were saved for preservation; 55009 leaving Doncaster in August 1982 as property of the Deltic Preservation Society and D9000 leaving in September 1983 after purchase by the D9000 Fund.
