You'll need plain, strong, cotton calico or canvas, firm paper-like embroidery stabiliser (like Stitch'n'Tear), fusible adhesive (e.g. Bondaweb), papers (old book pages etc), a tiny amount of gesso (or white household emulsion paint), watercolour paints, acrylic wax or other sealer (like matte medium), a couple of brushes and a jam jar. Then you'll need fabric scraps and strips, a few all-purpose machine threads, some machine embroidery thread, invisible thread, some thicker threads and yarns,
