The Three Little Pigs Story Basket Creating story baskets or bags to to assist children with retell. This concept could also be applied to giving students inspiration for writing by assembling a group of items and having students create a story from them.

Writing stimulus - what's through the key hole? Make a link with stories, fantasy settings etc. Nice photo for a piece of extended writing, possibly even based on 'The Secret Garden' as I used as a stimulus last year with Year 1.
