The 88 min TV documentary, "Curse of The Exorcist" was shown on E! Entertainment on Aug 2004. There are interviews from the director & producer, as well as behind the scenes.. but towards the end of the clip as it was the 4th installment of Exorcist, Very interesting and unnerving, well worth watching.. Thanks to etrigan69, it can be viewed at http://captainhowdy.com/2007/12/video-curse-of-the-exorcist/
Taken outside the makeup rooms at the end of the filming of Exorcist, the Beginning. That's James D'Arcy on the floor, Remy Sweeny to his left and Izabella Scorupco in her scary makeup. (many thanks, Gary Tunnicliffe!) -- which would place it around Feb. 22, 2004 when Exorcist wrapped.
James D'Arcy as Father Francis, a bright, young priest sent by the Vatican to oversee the excavation of an early 5th century church in East Africa. Father Francis aided Father Merrin in his initial battle with Pazuzu and the rediscovery of his faith, decades prior to The Exorcist.
A funny one from Top 10 Sexiest Film Clergymen: "Luckily, this film features a rather sexy saving grace in the form of English totty James D’Arcy as Father Francis. We can’t verify exactly what it is that he does in this film apart from holding a lantern. But, by gum, does he hold that lantern."
