2010: Semi-biographical feature film based on the experiences of former prison guard, Ronnie Thompson, but in the film, he is called Sam Norwood (James D'Arcy). Filmed 6 weeks (14 Sept - 19 Oct 2010) in a disused prison in Scarborough, North Yorkshire and the last 4 days in Southend-on-Sea, Essex for the Iraq war scene. Screened in Cannes (May 2011). Premiered at London's Soho Hotel on 30 May 2011. Cinema release: UK, 03 June 2011
