Beachy Head is a chalk headland in Southern England. The cliff there is the highest chalk sea cliff in Britain, rising to 162 m (530 ft) above sea level.
Beachy Head Lighthouse in Sussex England. It was brought into service in 1902 to replace the Belle Toute lighthouse on the cliff top near Eastbourne. The lighthouse will be allowed to return to natural granite because the cost of painting it red and white can no longer be justified.
