Well as we enter Autumn we spent the day creating unique Collage boxes. It was a grey day outside a we brightened the day inside. mixed media House Box
This box is hand made using fabric paper which was then primed with gesso and painted over. I have then machine and hand embroidered my design onto it. The box is embellished with sequins, beads, card shapes and eyelets. The inside of the box is lined with a red and gold hand made paper. The fastening is made from machine wrapped cords finished with Tibetan silver toggles. This box is 10cm width x19cm in length.
