Alice In Wonderland Book

Hello, and thank you for stopping by. Today I am happy to be escaping to Wonderland. “Imagination is the only weapon in the war against reality.” Lewis Carroll I used a papier-mâché book from Hobbycraft, on reflection I wish I had purchased a better quality one as this one had lumps and bumps, and was not very sturdy. Foil Quill

Hello how are you today? Exciting news yesterday my Foil Quill finally arrived. I purchased it in January from a UK store.Sadly the manufacturer supplied one of the tv craft channels with all of their stock so there was none left for the small retailers who had taken preorders! I always support small UK stores so I waited. The Foil Quill adds foiling to your projects without any of the usual mess involved in foiling! It comes with four adopters to use with the Silhouette, Brother, Cricut, or…

I had lots of fun creating this Alice in Wonderland scene for Fiskarettes UK Alice In Wonderland Scenes, Alice In Wonderland Crafts, World Crafts, Needlework, Card Making, Paper Crafts, Stamp, Create, Cards

Alice In Fiskars Land

I made this 3d scene for one of my Fiskarettes UK design team posts.I love Alice in Wonderland! I have had a set of little wooden tables for ages, but I have never used them! So I finally decided I would put one together, and then continued to have a lot of fun creating the Alice scene around it. The Fiskars 3 in 1 tag maker is brilliant it easily cuts through shrink plastic! After punching it out I wrote ”Drink Me” onto it before shrinking it and tying it around the minature bottle. I then…

Alice In Wonderland

I have of course returned to creating an Alice In Wonderland whatnot again. It will be the first of many this year, as 2020 is the anniversary of Sir John Tenniel’s birth 200 years ago. He was the artist who so beautifully illustrated the Alice books. I turned one of Tim Holtz hare dies into the white rabbit, and several of my other Alice stamps joined him too. I used watercolours, and polychromo pencils for my colouring.I used a little piece from a paper doily to make Alice’s apron. Thank…

December Daily, Book Folding and Napkins

I have finally completed my December Daily for 2019! I cut a selection of pages, envelopes, tags etc, originallyI was going to use book rings. I soon decided that they looked too bulky, so I opted for ribbon instead. I wanted to keep it simple and easy to do, so I used a pad of stickers from Kaiserkraft which incorporated numbers from 1 to 31 which were very useful. I have also recently tried book folding for the first time. I also recycled a beautiful Deer image from a serviette. Thank you…
