The Britannia, Stepney
The Britannia, Stepney - The Britannia was situated at 232 Cable Street. This former Taylor Walker Brewery pub had been present by 1839. It may have also had other brewery ownership in its time as there was a large and impressive Meux & Co’s Brewery mirror in the saloon bar and even still today it has a Truman’s lantern on the outside.
