Plum: There is a bacterial canker that affects plums, but it's difficult to say from the photo if this is the case with your plant. Take a sample into your local garden center or nursery for further information, and read this: www.rhs.org.uk/advice/profile?PID=86
Crocosmia (crocosmia cultivar): This is a perennial flower that grows from small corms, like gladiolas, to become about 2 ft. tall with brilliant orange or red summer flowers that butterflies love. Give it full sun and regular water and continue to care for the plant after the flowers are spent until the foliage yellows and dies back.
Daylily (hemerocallis): You have a daylily, one of the most popular perennials in the country. Like all perennials, the foliage will die back to the ground in the fall but return every spring. There are several species and cultivars of this plant. Some spread and some stay in clumps. They do well in sun or part sun.
