Still Life with Food and Drink

Eating is our most basic need, and it's no surprise that food and drink forms the basis for much of the best still life. The visual beauty of our food - along with the strong memories of taste, smell, and texture - forms a powerful sensory experience, and artists have always known this. Photographic still life falls outside the scope of this board. It includes paintings only.
