Oxborough Hall is a late 15th century moated manor house built by the Bedingfeld family, who still occupy this house today. The hall is well known for its priest hole, a hiding place for priests built into many of the principal Catholic houses of England during the persecution of the Catholics. The room is reached via a trapdoor, which when closed blends in with the tiled floor.

Perhaps in the winter months and the sun is further south so you can shoot from the north side of the pier where the beach…

As promised a much longer exposure of the wind turbines at blood hill farm in Norfolk. This time 20 second exposure. I'm not too convinced such a long exposure works - in fact I have a very similar shot - in effect at 1/2 second without the ND110 the only thing this really gives are the clouds rushing by. Still it was a good experiment. Unfortunately after taking this and a number of others like it I've started to get worried by my verticals, they're just not right here. At 10mm and…

Focus on the composition of the Groynes, I like this one, considering the first shot in this series shows the drama of the scene this one belies what the day was actually like..
