This 1972 Triumph GT6 convertible is the car Triumph should have built. While we’re not usually big fans of the Spitfire roadster, the GT6 chassis and drivetrain beneath this Spitfire body pushes this example over the top. The conversion looks well-sorted in the many excellent photos, and the car comes with spares and nicely matched Donnington wheels. Find it here on Craigslist in Detroit, Michigan for $7200.

My second sport car was a Triumph Spitfire - looked almost the same as this. It was red and had soft and hard covers.
