Inspector Aberline by Julian Quaye
While currently developing Inspector Aberline's backstory I've always imagined him to have the voice of either Sean Bean, Ray Winstone or Idris Elba after developing a raging 20 a day Capstan Full Strength no filter habit to add extra throaty growl. (And possibly Emphysema)Don't smoke kids, it's not cool and it's not clever, unless you happen to be Humphrey Bogart and he's no longer with us.No wonder I can't sleep.
Pencil drawing of Lucky Lou Lynch
Pencil drawing of Lucky Lou Lynch. People often ask me which actors I would like to voice my characters on celluloid, Kevin Spacey would be a damn good fit for Lucky Lou as sadly ol’ Bogarts no longer with us and I loosely based his character on Rick from Casablanca and Jack Vincennes from LA Confidential. Now all I need is Russel Crowe to play my pugilist Pug Padraic. www.julianquaye.co.uk
The real cat featured in my latest painting
Read about Ginger - the real cat - and muse for my latest painting - in this short free e-book by Auntie G. In the story I am creating Carolyn 'Ginger' Grant is arenownedcat burglar and jewelthief. She was compromised by Albert Hitchcock of Albion Yard to carry out the odd occasionally 'dubious' task. Painted here with her trusty 'Tweeters' and cohorts the Magpies Kym and Novak.
