Hello Julia,  Thank you so much for a brilliant term! My back already feels a lot better and my knee seems much stronger. Considering that I must be 20-30 years older than almost everyone else in the class, I feel really pleased with myself!! 'I just loved our retreat today – starting with the Zumba worked really well and created a great atmosphere. I was amazed how much I remembered and also that I managed the whole session.   The Pilates was perfect and doing it in a circle again created a lovely atmosphere.  What can I say about the relaxation – mmm!  just loved it and your soothing tones were a delight.' I arrived feeling heavy, knackered and dejected  and finished the day not only totally relaxed, but also infused with energy, lightness and optimism. Thank you So much for today!  I feel like a different woman! Such a relaxed and nourishing environment.  It was somehow so moving to have all us women slumbering and meditating together at the end of the day - I had such a sense of all our different spirits peacefully deeply relaxing together.  Iit is so beneficial for so many - I am so aware of how my thoughts and whole being moves towards the light again within a few moments of the retreat starting.' 'Another wonderful Funky Buddha Retreat with Julia on Saturday - loved the dynamic pilates session and building core strength - coupled with fun zumba dance session and a stretch/relax/meditation time at the end of the day. I came to Julia's Pilates class as a very unsure, nervous & stiff post hip replacement patient.   My muscle in my hip didn't work so well and in general I was pretty unfit . Since coming to the classes my core strength has improved, my general fitness has improved and if I didn't tell you, you wouldn't know I've had a hip replacement! If spinal flexibility and core strength equate to continued youth (and I think they do), Julia's classes will give you a new lease of life. I had never stuck at any exercise class until I started Pilates with Julia. She tailors each exercise to the individual, ensuring you're doing it properly! She's very friendly and fun too. 'Thank you Julia for all your help pre and post Great South Run, I found the Pilates class really helped in two main areas, my core strength and stretching after my training runs. I would also like to thank you for your help with my race injury to my foot, I'm now back to full fitness and enjoying pain free running again. — feeling great.' The Pilates class on Wednesday really helped with my back issue, an ongoing problem which was 'set off' again when I lifted something heavy at home. The instruction in class was sensitive and sympathetic,the exercises tailored to my specific needs despite being in a class situation, and the results hugely beneficial. - Phil Hooper Sensitive
