Mary, Mungo & Midge. Had completely forgotten about how I used to love them!

Mary, Mungo & Midge my favourite, especially when off school sick and able to watch with a bowl of soup and freshly baked cheese straws!

I loved this book! I'm sure in this version she went to the ball on three different nights so got to wear three different dresses. Oh how I wanted to be her....

Another pinner said: Ladybird Cinderella. I loved that she wore three frocks and went to three balls in this version.

Enid Blyton 'The Enchanted Wood'. Don't like the way it's been altered to satisfy political correctness. Dick becomes Rick; Fanny becomes Franny. Rubbish!

Enid Blyton 'The Enchanted Wood' - this and the Faraway Tree were some of my favourite childhood books

Fame (TV Show) Starring Debbie Allen, Lee Curreri takes place at the High School Of Performing Arts in New York City.

Lovely children's TV program, created by Eric Thompson, Emma's father. I loved this show as a child in the UK; I was given this record in 1975 & have it still. I take it out & play it when I need to remember how to lighten up & play as a parent.

The Magic Roundabout - Written and narrated by Eric Thompson (Emma's Dad! Eric bought the rights to Serge Danot's "La Manège Enchanté" and a much loved English classic was born.
