Last of the all Leyland PD2's
JOJ 180 the last of Birmingham's all Leyland PD2's is waiting time at the Hall Green terminus of the long cross city route from Pheasey Estate. These buses were known as "greenhouses" by the drivers as the large front screen and small cab, could get hot on whichever day summer fell on. 2180 lasted until 1968. The end of a short December afternoon in High Steet Birmingham 1964 and twilight falls over the new, confident 1960's buildings that have replaced the old Bull Ring.
