Backlit Durdle Door Portrait
(Portrait version) Another lesson in perseverance. Having driven through plenty of miles of fog one cold March night, I thought the chances of getting any shots of the stars at Durdle Door were slim. But I walked down, managed to get on to the beach, lo and behold the skies were clear (if a little hazy) and there was a boat in the distance lighting up the horizon. I proceeded to line up the boat and the door opening, and lit the door with my trusty LED Lenser torch.
