"Cloud 009"  This capture was taken during my flight from China back to Canada. It was so breathtaking that it felt like we were flying past heaven. I'm afraid this photo does not even do it justice.

Crepuscular Rays - One of the most spectacular views we get here on earth is the light show of crepuscular rays. These are sun rays or sunlight that has been scattered by particles in the atmosphere. Most often it is water, dust or smoke. Light is not visible so it takes some form of contaminant in the air to produce the ray effect.

This picture was taken with the Clementine spacecraft, when the sun was behind the moon. The white area on the edge of the moon is the LHG, and the bright dot at the top is the planet Venus.
