Pig Cushion (sewing) - OK, so I may have gone 'slightly' OTT on this one!

Staggered-pattern, tassel-edged throw. Begun in the cold, harsh winter of 1896... finally managed to finish... It's not cos my knitting is slow or owt... I just got distracted by 10,000 other knitting projects. Kimberley xx

250 x 15 cm Cable Scarf OMG – ‘WOOL AVALANCHE’… buried for 3 days… luckily, I managed to dig myself out using a couple of 10 mm knitting needles that had gotten swept along with the flow. But what do you do with all your ‘ball leftovers’… you can’t ignore them forever… simply tossing them in your spare room is only an accident waiting to happen. So, you could do a blanket, a hat, or… a scarf. Kimberley xx

Bead necklace OMG, I can’t believe it’s already October… where has this year gone… I suppose I haven’t really paid that much attention to it beginning to get dark at 2 in the afternoon, and the shops filling up with baubles and Selection Boxes… but hey ho – that’s the distraction of knitting. Patchwork, tricolour tabletop cover A while ago, a visitor to my home exclaimed that “OMG, on the inside, your house is very cottagey – certainly not at all what I was expecting from the outside”. Yes, I’m pretty sure that my house is anything but a cottage… either on the outside, or, for that matter, the inside… but I have to admit, that I do like the idea of that kind of residence… you know, somewhere cosy, snug… with pheasants roasting on an open fire – and maybe, just m

OK, so this project was supposed to be a dog blanket… but somehow it’s ended up being a cushion! You really do have to keep your mind on the job. Kimberley xx

Short, textured-knit scarf OK, so at 136 x 16cm it’s probably not that short – I thought I’d go for 3 different stitch patterns here. That’s the beauty of knitting – you can just sit down (unless, that is, you’re into ‘extreme knitting’ – then you’ve got your needles out whilst snowboarding down K2) and have a go… and see what you come up with. Multicoloured scarf 3m x 0.14m - it only took 3 balls of wool… and a few days to complete. Kimberley xx

Scarf Wrap 2m long x 37cm wide I love working with this stripy wool, it gives you a great effect to the finished article. I was torn between whether or not to add tassel edging as it seems to work quite well without. Kimberley xx
