FIRESIDE ELOPEMENT /// One of my favourite things about styling a winter wedding is the food and drinks you can work with ... what better for a cosy fireside elopement than steaming mugs of hot chocolate stirred with cinnamon.
It's day 2 of #meetthemaker week and today is all about 'What' ... I have been designing and making beautiful high quality wedding stationery and invitations since 2009 and love adding luxe finishes and gorgeous colours. This year I've also started working with couples on designing and styling their weddings so this photo from my Jungle Luxe shoot of my hanging hoop table plan display sums up both sides of the business. ////// Photography @maxiphotographydevon Venue @paschoehouse
I just adored styling this table for our Industrial Luxe inspiration shoot. My concept for the design was inspired by 'Miss Havisham's dining room' in Great Expectations. I wanted a gorgeous 'windswept' feel with an aged look and flowers which almost fell like they were tumbling down the table. The wonderful @bromptonbuds absolutely nailed my brief and produced this spectacular urn arrangement.
CEREMONY BACKDROP ////// I love creating bespoke backdrops for couple's ceremonies or photobooths. This is the beautiful freestanding fabric backdrop I created for our Autumn Editorial at @weddevon last year. It looked beautiful set up in the gardens and decorated with stunning flowers from @hollybee_flowers
WINTER BAR STYLING ///// Was super excited to see the Opulent Winter Shoot I styled at @hillersdon.house featured on the @cocoweddingvenues blog today! It was wonderful to get together with the team below and create a beautiful moody winter wedding look. This is part of the bar table I created with some winter cocktails and a touch of my favourite bottle of whiskey!
OPULENT WINTER TABLES CAPE ////// A little more from our winter inspiration shoot with @barrow_emma at @hillersdon.house this morning which featured on @cocoweddingvenues blog yesterday! I wanted to create a super lush and dramatic feel for the wedding tables in the Hillersdon dining room with its gorgeous moody grey walls. For me it was all about the candles ... lots of them!
I'm off on my travels around Devon visiting @wearewestcountryweddingplanner @virginiasvintagehire and @keepingitvintagedevon picking up some gorgeous bits and pieces I'll be using to style my next shoot with the lovely photographer @barrow_emma on Tuesday. Here's the lovely tablescape I created from our last shoot at @weddevon. Gorgeous flowers by @hollybee_flowers and chairs from @virginiasvintagehire
One of my favourite things to style is bar set ups! Having a little ( or large! ) bar area at your wedding is such a nice idea ... especially if you are looking at a venue with no bar facilities of its own. A little styled area with welcome drinks or a whisky or cocktails area in the evening looks great. This rustic bar set up was from the autumnal editorial shoot I styled in August. Following on from yesterday's post of our Opulent Winter wedding styling I thought I'd share another opulent tablescape I styled but with more of an outdoor feel. This table at @weddevon last year also had an opulent feel with an abundance of gorgeous flowers from @hollybee_flowers . I added lots of gold from candlesticks and gilded pears but against the rustic wood it gives it the perfect feel for outdoor barn or tipi weddings. ///// Photographer @barrow_emma Chair hire…
