Dawn is based on an original design that Paper Marbler Nat Maks, created for a project where she hand crafted 3D botanical leaf sculptures. Experimenting with the use of non-conventional materials such as crepe paper has resulted in an added level of texture and dimension which we have interpretated with the use of Tibetan wool, Chinese silk and Linen in a 150 knot quality

Part of our Artist Collaboration collection with German Artist Stefan Heyer, ‘Awaken The Spirits Part 1’ is a diptych design (meaning an artwork consisting of two pieces). Using a combination of intuitive physicality of highly energetic trance-like strokes and mark makings, along with a more highly conscientious process, Heyer uses oil paints, phototransfer, dried plants, emulsion, pencil and oil pastels on canvas, giving these abstract pieces their intriguing complexity

The Bloom & The Thorns is an interpretation of an original painting by American Artist Brian Coleman. Inspired by a trip to Lake Wylie in South Carolina, Coleman designed this piece based on the reflections on the water that he saw, the lines and shapes derived from a map of the lake and blooming roses from the surrounding areas. This piece has been skilfully hand-knotted in the Kathmandu Valley of Nepal using the world’s oldest traditional skills in the finest Tibetan wool and Chinese silk.
