It’s mind blowing to see what artist Lisa Kellner is able to do with silk organza, thread, and various pigments. Her immense sculptures take the shape of varicolored cell structures and organ-like forms . . . and look almost as if they are floating weightlessly in fluid or underwater.
Iris van Herpen is a Dutch fashion designer. She studied Fashion Design at Artez Institute of the Arts Arnhem and interned at Alexander McQueen in London, and Claudy Jongstra in Amsterdam. In 2007, she started her own label.
Winde Reinstra: S/S 2010 Laser cut wooden structures, almost harp like, sporting thread which threads through and creates architectural and sculptural pieces of art. Strong use of line (straight) to form interesting line work around the body from a 360 degree angle.
