Lets you feel like you were there hundreds of years ago

Stonehenge is a prehistoric monument in Wiltshire, England, about 2 miles west of Amesbury and 8 miles north of Salisbury. One of the most famous sites in the world, Stonehenge is the remains of a ring of standing stones set within earthworks.

1994 European tour.  Took pictures in all directions when we were up there!

Scariest part was going to the very top which is outside and feeling the sway of the wind move the tower and hearing the creaks and groans!

Lots of people do tracings of monuments.  I tried but it didn't turn out too good!

Well...I did it...I kissed the Blarney Stone!  That was in 1994...don't know how well it works, but I have managed to put a word or two together successfully :)

A visit to Ireland is not complete without kissing the Blarney Stone. Blarney Castle is touristy, cheesy, and probably one of the closest things Ireland has to a theme park, but it’s also a lot of fun.

Austria / Liechtenstein Border When I was here in 1994, they had stopped stampiing passports.  We wanted ours done so we sneaked off the bus, and ran to the office.  They said "no", but then one officer searched through a desk and found a stamp for us.  Really cool!
