Stunningly beautiful bureau refurbished with a Japanese theme throughout, hence the name “Sakura”, meaning Cherry Blossom. The front of the desk, which inspired the overall design, has a decoupaged piece of Japanese art, very aptly titled “Kumoi-Sakura”, (Kumoi Cherry Trees). The complementary colour palette of pale greens, soft golds and contrasting matte black, lifts this piece from retro to contemporary, without ever detracting from its original design roots.
