Anders Lassen (1920 -1945) was a highly decorated Danish soldier who was a recipient of the British Victoria Cross in the Second World War. A leader of the still-classified SOE (sometimes called the Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare), his official dispatches often simply read, "Landed. Killed Germans. F***ed off."
Anders Lassen VC, MC** (1920-45). Was posthumously awarded the VC for single-handedly taking out three enemy positions during a mission in the final weeks of the Italian campaign. His remains the only SAS VC.
