Ok - so plastic bags can NOT be recycled through our current curbside system {see our last post}... ... but they CAN BE RECYCLED!! 💫 📍Find a location near you that accepts soft plastic (like plastic bags and soft shipping packaging) for recycling! ➡️ bit.ly/recycle_softplastics [link in bio] OR consider switching out plastic bags with reusable bags! Just store them in your car, or some bags like @baggu fold up nice and small so you can easily fit in your purse or pocket. Did you know there is a difference between "recycling" and "closed-loop recycling"? 🤔 When an item goes through the "recycling" process, it may be downcycled, and turned into a substance that can't be recycled again (ex. glass => sand). But when an item is "closed-loop recycled" then it is absolutely turned into an item of the same material & value, which means it can be recycled indefinitely! (Ex. a glass bottle => a glass bottle) Nouns, Being Used, Glass Bottles, Closed, Absolutely, Sand
