Rye pottery planter
Here is a photo of a lovely Rye pottery planter which I bought at the Malvern flea fair last month. Its a deep cornflower blue colour with sgraffito style decoration. I think it dates from the 1950s. This is one I will be keeping for my own collection. Just visible in the background is one of my other favourites, a large oblong plate made by Stavangerflint of Norway with a design by Inger Waage, from her 'opaque' range.

A truly statuesque vase, cylindrical in shape with a footed base, designed by Glyn Colledge for Langley. The Sycamore range was produced from 1963-1965, and features simple abstract designs. The colour pallet was limited to grey, green, brown and black giving them a very modern look. Sycamore was only produced for 2 years making it quite a rare range.
