Get your students excited and motivated about memorizing their multiplication facts! I think I'm going to do a math challenge with learning their multiplication tables. this may work!

I've been wanting to do something like this! Now to figure out what I'll use it for :-)

Love this "graffiti" wall idea- roll of butcher paper that can be spur of the moment chart paper, for lessons or for centers/group work!

Building hand muscle strength plus counting practice.I love this! Another twist: every kid has a card. Punch cards according to their behavior. If they have 5 holes at end of week, that means they listened and they get a "treat" of some sort.

Figure me out math activity! Great for getting to know/beginning of the year! (Picture only)

Elementary Math Project Idea ~ this creative fun requires skill-based learning. fun beginning of the year math project for everyone to get to know each other while practicing math skills

Getting boys into maths!

MEASUREMENT understand place value in EYFS. But, for preschool, simply measuring the distance traveled. closest to the tube, furthest, etc.

The yellow notes have different signs (multiplication, division, addition, and subtraction) and then you can pick two white notes with numbers.

"On the white paper (plain popcorn) I wrote numbers, on the yellow (buttered popcorn) I wrote math symbols (+ – x ). Students can then choose 2 pieces of white popcorn and 1 piece of yellow. They write the equation and answer in their books.

Similar idea- bur use line outside & water table with pegs for fine motor skills, wringing out washing & pegging.

We enhanced the water tray by adding a washing line. As well as wringing the clothes of water and in turn developing gross motor skills they also developed their fine motor skills by squeezing open the pegs! Also lots of fun!
