This craft has to do with Snow White. Students would trace the shape of their mirror onto construction paper and then cut it out. Next, they would glue tin foil in the middle of their mirror and decorate a border around it with markers and sequence.

History: Growing and Changing

Getting the students to relate the subject to themselves is a good way to get them engaged. Possibly a bit young for them? May have to judge by the students I have at the time.

so I love this for a Science/Language Arts connection. Jack and The Beanstalk. soak the beans overnight so they swell and sprout more quickly. Plant in soil, insert wooden skewer with castle and clouds (cotton balls) attached at top.

Here's a pre-k activity that we could use in elementary/middle school too.  Tell the students a story.  Create a walking path down the middle of the banner paper.   On each side start drawing the details of the story in sequence.  Great mural to hang up later too.

I would use this activity for the students to write a letter to the antagonist in the story. I would have them write how the character made them feel and to give the character advice to be a better person/animal.
