Sirius and Harry are parallels. Grew up in an abusive household Had a best mate who they loved more than anything (Harry loved Ron or fight me - Harry's treasure that he could not live without in GoF) Stayed at said best mate's house and became part of the family Have nightmares PTSD

Head cannon accepted. Just imagain all those years of Harry growing up with the Dursley's too. And his first potions lesson, I'll be that one wasn't pretty.

Harry, though. Harry has money; Harry has new things. What Harry does not have is family. Harry is an orphan. Other than one photo album and the invisibility cloak, he doesn’t have anything that came with family history attached. What Molly does here is give him that; she makes him part of the family, symbolically, by giving him an emotionally significant if physically imperfect item. She gives him love in a tangible form. <<< I think this is lovely and so so true!
