I travelled 50 odd miles today to Holy Island...also known as Lindisfarne( it is off the Northumberland coast in the UK ) to get some shots in the snow...there was snow all the way up there....just none there haha...never mind....there was some lovely light and blue skies when i arrived....it changed in no time at all....to heavy moody skies.....which is my preference ;-)
Walking through Alnwick Castle.
Yves de Vescy, Baron of Alnwick, erected the first parts of the castle in 1096. The castle is used as a stand in for the exterior and interior of Hogwarts in the Harry Potter films (though the wide angle images are computer generated).
