kids today will never understand laying on the floor talking on the phone that has a cord attached to the wall

Oh yeah!!! standing and swinging, the ground was concrete and we didn't give a monkey's

This was so much fun, standing on the swings and going as high as we could. We thought we could reach the sky or at least the high tree branch in our backyard.

OMG I remember licking and sticking piles of these in books (wonder I didn't die from glue poisoning!)

Remember these into the mid Shops gave them with a whole variety of goods.you stuck them into boks and exchanged them for a variety of household goods at 'Green Shield Stamp Shops'. There were also Pink Stamps.

did anyone not have one of these?

Remember these plastic strip door curtains to stop the flies in summer? My Aunt had these and I used to get told off for plaiting them!

Small Brick in a Cone yum yum!

These were DIY ice creams. Buy a cone and a chunk of ice cream wrapped in a bit of grease proof paper and make yourself a lush summer fave!

I don't know why we did this, but we did...

Yes and putting glue on our hands, just for the thrill of peeling it off. I also put Ralgex and Algipan on my arms to feel the burn. Guess you had to find some way of enjoying yourself , if you didn't have that many toys lol !

Golf Balls bubblegum- forgot all about these until I saw this pic. Wonderful memory of the smell and texture!
