This notebook journal has been covered with a piece of handmade felt depicting an abstract ocean sunset. The cover has been wet-felted in pre-dyed blue Merino wools overlying dyed Shetland wool. This handmade journal cover was wet felted from super soft, pre-dyed Merino wools, and has an inside layer of Cheviot wool to give it a lovely 'padded' feel. The Oystercatcher was needle-felted onto the cover and then lightly hand-stitched with embroidery silk for definition.
