By Jessica Lampit I have added this to my board as I love the use of layers and textures. I think this technique can really give you an idea of the texture of the garment and the colour scheme that would be used in the garment.
I began by observing the surface and textures of random objects before developing these textiles samples. I worked with monochrome colours to keep the attention on the surface design of the textiles themselves and experimented with heat press, machine embroidery and boning.
