Pirate Ships - Cork Boat craft for kids

Easy (Pirate) Cork Boats

Easy (Pirate) Cork Boats - these little cork boats are super quick to make (takes minutes) and float REALLY well. Make them using craft foam for sails and you can have hours of water play in the garden. A great pirate craft for Summer.

I'm thinking that my classroom theme next year will be pirates. This website has over 40 teacher submitted pictures with AWESOME ideas to pull it off. Arrrrrgh!

A super Pirate Writing Ship classroom display photo contribution. Great ideas for your classroom!

I got a pile of pillows and piled them up to create the island and i covered it with a sandy colour paint protector (from red dot and spotlight)...... The tree is just made for cardboard boxes and paint... the coconuts are small brown balloons....The water was just scarps of blue paper stuck together....KIDS LOVED IT!!!
