What would you do with an extra $1,500? The crazy part is that the average American family of 4 loses about $1,500 worth of food waste a year. All that uneaten, rotten, and unplanned food adds up quickly. This is honestly the one area of our finances we can all improve on without attacking each other. Food waste is a real problem and it’s costing us a lot of money that can be used in so many other ways. This is one of the reasons why I don’t just create a meal plan. I need to have a plan for my food and then put some execution to my plan by meal prepping.
